Embarking on a decade-plus journey that has resulted in a collection of justly-earned\, highly introspective songs\, Davey crafts pure Americana that is not of the social and political consciousness\, but drawn from the deep well of experience and human emotion – no hackneyed story lines\, no insincere polish\, just an unflinching poet’s look at life. The characters woven seamlessly into stories of which the song itself becomes the soundtrack for the movie playing inside the listener’s head. \nArmed with a steady\, rhythmic pulse on his Gibson guitar\, a battered straw cowboy hat and a no apologies rust-belt work ethic\, Davey puts rubber to asphalt\, entertaining attentive\, diverse audiences at listening rooms\, coffeehouses\, nightclubs\, festivals\, colleges and universities throughout the Northeast\, Midwest\, Midsouth and Atlantic U.S. – performances that result in engagement and communion between performer and audience through story and song. \nThe hard work has paid off with recognition by way of a New Folk Finalist Selection at The 2013 Kerrville Folk Festival\, an Official Showcase Selection at the 2011 Folk Alliance Conference and coveted opening act slots for Ellis Paul\, Amy Speace\, Tracy Grammer\, Eilen Jewell\, Suzanne Vega\, Eric Andersen\, Cheryl Wheeler\, Sloan Wainwright\, Kim & Reggie Harris\, The Kennedys and Poco. \nIn August 2012\, Davey released – “Testing For Rust” which grabbed the attention of Folk & Americana DJ’s across the country\, earning him top grades on the Folk DJ Charts. “Testing For Rust” debuted on FOLK DJ Radio Charts at #20\, made the Top Sellers on CD Baby\, hit the Airplay Direct Charts Top 50\, and spent 11 weeks in the Top 25 on the Roots Music Report (RMR) for State of NY. “Testing For Rust” was also placed on the 2012 “Best of” lists by radio stations WVPE (Elkhart\, IN)\, WHRW (Binghamton\, NY)\, 90FM (Stevens Point\, WI) and WMSC (Montclair\, NJ). \nIn September 2014\, Davey release a 7 song EP\, “No Passengers”\, co-produced by Neale Eckstein at Fox Run Studios in Sudbury\, MA over the course of a day and a half. Like its predecessor “Testing For Rust”\, “No Passengers” also captured the hearts of folk DJ’s around the country\, debuting as a Top 20 album on the Folk DJ Charts for September 2014 and remaining a Top 25 Contemporary Folk CD on the Roots Music Reports for the better part of five months. “No Passengers” also received critical acclaim with inclusion on the “Best of 2014” lists of no less than six radio stations – WHRW (Binghamton\, NY)\, WAMC (Albany\, NY)\, WMSC (Montclair\, NJ)\, Radio Crystal Blue (Tacoma\, WA)\, WVPE (Elkhart\, IN) and The Sundilla Radio Hour (Auburn\, AL). “No Passengers” was also graded among the Top 100 Contemporary Folk Albums of 2014 on the Roots Music Reports\, landing in the #25 position. \nEqual parts songwriter and storyteller\, Davey has also earned the respect of his peers for his constant dedication to the art of song craft as well as for his incredible work ethic\, which finds him performing close to 140 dates per year. \nDavey is looking to build on the success of his previous releases with the 2017 release of “A Bright Horizon Line” – his new\, full length CD. Joined by veteran folk artists Tracy Grammer (background vocals)\, and Pat Wictor (dobro)\, as well as up and coming artists Matt Nakoa (piano)\, and Eric Lee (mandolin\, fiddle)\, “A Bright Horizon Line” is a collection of 10 tracks (9 original compositions\, and a cover of the Crowded House classic “Don’t Dream It’s Over”) – each one taking the listener on an adventure via music and words\, strung along the common thread of this journey we are all on. Doors @ 6:30\, Music @ 7\n$7 preshow//$10 at the door\nAll ages \nJAILHOUSE PAYBACK (acoustic set) \nJailhouse Payback formed in early 2007 when Sailer and Rechs started writing music together in Rochester\, Minnesota. Their hits became popular with at least 4 or 5 people in town\, and somebody pulled some strings to get them on the radio. They performed live on 89.3/88.7 FM The Current (Minnesota Public Radio) for MPR’s “Live from Rochester” day in May of 2007. Mark Wheat from the Current said\, “Awesome”. Since then\, the band has written and recorded more than 100 original songs\, and has had two songs played on Minnesota Public Radio’s “Local Show”. In March of 2010\, they opened for the Grammy Award Winning Carolina Chocolate Drops in Wabasha\, MN (seriously\, that’s not a joke\, we really did). The band found Dan Ruggeberg on Craig’s List (for free) in 2009\, and met Jessica Daly at Schmitt Music and local open mic nights. Many drummers have been added to the band\, and none are permitted to leave. \nJailhouse Payback have shared the stage with some other band that played after they went home\, some popular country band that literally sound checked their entire set\, and like we said earlier\, the Carolina Chocolate Drops. Their favorite musicians to play with are local artists like Root River Jam\, Jason McKenzie\, Pat Egan\, Fall Risk\, MM Jr\, and please play with us again John Sievers. \nJailhouse Payback has performed at Whiskeybones Roadhouse (R.I.P)\, The Rochester Arts Center\, The Bar (Goodview)\, Broadway Theater in Wabasha\, Studio 2 and Acadia Cafe in Minneapolis\, Hot Topic (I know\, right?)\, Olmsted County History Center\, Rochester Symphony\, Post Town Winery\, and will be playing at Northstar Bar on August 25. They’ve played in Grinnell and Maquoketa\, Iowa; will return for their second show in Madison\, WI on Sept 21 and their first show in Chicago\, IL (BERWYN!) on Sept 22. Jailhouse Payback has music streaming on Spotify and other music services\, as well as for purchase on I-tunes. \nSYVERS \nSyvers\, a husband-wife indie-folk duo from Minneapolis\, share in a love of finding the honest truth no matter the cost. This common pursuit led them to write their first EP together\, the Au Fond Sessions\, a 3-track collection of an intimate\, bare-bones gaze into the heart of relationship and the spectrum of its experience. The duo sweep layered vocal harmonies over effected grooves\, bending the guitar and voice into a landscape of atmospheric textures. Quickly becoming a staple of their shows\, live-looping grants the duo the permission to create tracks on the fly\, making each night a new collaboration. \nContinuing on the stride of their first release\, Syvers is in the process of completing their first full-length album\, set to be released in 2018. They are currently traveling across the country\, bringing intimate connections of song and story to their audiences.

This original combination continues to provide him unique opportunities to be welcomed in a multitude of music festival styles and variety artist collaborations. El Dub is a soulful artist\, who mixes melodic harmonies andintricate looping mixes\, with all instruments live and in real time. From beat boxing\, guitar\, bass\, keys\, and synth sounds such as horns\, piano\, flutes etc. to sound like full band with just one man; an extraordinary performance to say the least. El Dub’s impressive looping skills\, have landed him main-stage performances at notable festivals and venues\, including SXSW\, Vans Warped Tour\, Suwannee Hulaween\, Unify Fest and Shangri-lato name a few\, as well as earned him the opportunity to perform alongside the likes of 311\, Matisyahu\, Dirty Heads\, Slightly Stoopid \, Rebelutionand many more. In 2012\, Lee ͞El Dub͟ made an advantageous decision to sell his possessions and move with his wife and children into the RV and tour the country performing for fans. He is a family man\, who home schools his oldest with his wife Angie\, who all manages to handle his bookings. Together\, they have toured to thirty-eight states for four consecutive years. Currently El Dub is touring in support of the release of his third full-length CD\, Feelin’ Alive\, which is packed deep and conscious lyrical expression; a driving force for this young family man. El Dub evokes positive change wherever he goes\, leaving his audiences revived\, with a new zest for life and a rebirth of purpose and enlightenment.

He was born the eighth child of ten siblings in a very musical family. His family even traveled the country for fifteen years performing as a musical family act. It was through all of this that Tony gained his wide spectrum of musical tastes that would later help craft his own unique sound.\nTony from time to time also performs with his band The Afterwhile and has supported headlining acts Donna the Buffalo\, Marshall Tucker\, Little River Band\, and The B52’s\, as well as being part of the MN Music Coalition and Caravan du Nord music series.
