He moved into a house with too many people\, and got random jobs at mediocre places. Music had subsided to no more than a quiet hobby to cope with the woes of being young and away from home. But\, almost accidentally\, musical favors turned into consistent involvement\, and Davison slowly stumbled his way into the Twin Cities music scene\, first lending his drumming to numerous projects (most recently Bad Bad Hats and Dreamspook) and now onto his debut solo EP\, Far Off Distant Plans. \nHoled up in a studio within a long forgotten King Coil mattress factory in Saint Paul\, Davison put together a collection of songs about the future: songs about longing and songs about fear. And somewhere within those feelings of trepidation\, a little bit of hopefulness shines through. \nJangly melodies and self-assured rhythms give a nod to the past\, while making room for Davison’s rumination about tomorrow. Written and recorded entirely by Con Davison\, with post production help from Brett Bullion (Bad Bad Hats\, Now\,Now) and Huntley Miller (Sylvan Esso\, Bon Iver)\, Far Off Distant Plans is swirling with sincerity and realism; it is a surprising debut from a college drop out\, turned hired gun drummer\, turned exactly what he’s always wanted to be: completely himself. \n\nVILD\nVILD is Emily Elizabeth Nelson\, a creative\, musician\, photographer\, yoga instructor\, barista\, and beyond. She was born and raised in Rochester\, where she was gifted the chance to learn piano and violin\, amongst many other things. It wasn’t until moving away for college in Duluth\, Minnesota\, when she began to fully listen to the call from her soul to pursue music. During her time in the northland\, she began to dive in to the world of her music\, heart first. She began writing (again)\, playing\, and learning all that she could\, of the business\, voice\, guitar\, piano\, and more. She went on from there to live in London and wander around Europe for six months\, before returning to Rochester last March after a plethora of travels and experiences. In the time since\, she has been writing\, recording\, and playing live in and around town.

She has performed at venues across the USA and in Europe. She has been a first violinist with the Rochester Symphony Orchestra since 2011. Ms. Lamb was a recipient of the 2016/2017 Emerging Artist Grant through the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council and was selected as the Minnesota Public Radio Class Notes Artist for Rochester\, 2013/2014. An enthusiastic educator for over a decade\, Ms. Lamb currently owns and runs KML Violin & Viola Studio in Rochester\, MN. Kathleen Lamb holds a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. \nSteven Pelky\, cello \nDr. Pelkey is currently teaching cello and bass at St. Mary’s University in Winona. This year he will also conduct the Winona State University orchestra and teach bass. Dr. Pelkey is the former artistic director of the Southeastern Minnesota Youth Orchestras and conductor of the Philharmonic Orchestra. His private studio currently consists of violin\, viola\, cello and bass students. He has taught strings in grades three through twelve in the public-school system. His undergraduate degree is from Northwestern University. He has also earned his Masters degree from Yale University and his doctorate from the University of Houston in Texas. He performs regularly with the Rochester Chamber Music Society and is a sub for the Rochester Symphony Orchestra. \nKERRI MULCARE ART \nKerri Mulcare is an artist living and working in Minneapolis\, MN. Her work explores themes such as relationships\, memory\, language and time through printmaking\, book arts and collage. She is interested in investigating the ‘book’ as a functional\, narrative-based object\, but also as a work that can transport the viewer. The intimacy a book creates via the paper or material surface\, linking the hands of the maker and the hands of the viewer\, is a quite an inspiring relationship. Doors at 6:​30pm​\,​ Music at 7pm\n$7 preshow//$10 door\nAll ages \nMY GRANDMA’S CARDIGAN \nMy Grandma’s Cardigan is an indie folk group from Winona\, MN. What started as a folk duo jamming in a living room has grown into a great group of friends that love playing music together. Her work can be found in private collections in southeastern Minnesota\, Rochester area businesses\, and has had her work purchased as part of the Ridgewater College permanent collection in Willmar Minnesota.
