Mark McGee aka MAKR is a composer and producer from Richmond\, VA. His projects include RONiiA\, Marijuana Deathsquads\, Father You See Queen\, and To Kill a Petty Bourgeoisie. \nLauren Alford aka Sophia Eris is an Artist/DJ/Composer from Dayton\, OH who’s projects include The Chalice\, GRRRL PRTY\, and touring DJ for Grammy award winning Lizzo. Both raised by military families (MAKR-Navy\, Sophia- Air Force)\, they somehow both found their way to Minneapolis in pursuit of their musical interests. After graduating with a music business degree in 2009\, Sophia Eris began circulating through the Minneapolis music scene where she met MAKR in 2012. It wasn’t until 2020 that the two began collaborating with each other due to sharing the same studio space at Mid City Studios in Uptown. They shared a common love for Hip Hop which grew into a mutual respect and admiration for one another. Together the music they create invokes a nostalgic feel of 90’s and 2000’s Hip Hop reminiscent of duo’s such as Missy & Timbaland\, Clipse & Pharrell\, and Lil Kim & Biggie. In their most recent project ME 2\, the two embark on female empowered driven lyricism combined with raw production that leaves one feeling trapped in the authentic essence that is missing from modern rap these days. \n  \nFollow MAKR AN ERIS on:\nInstagram: @makraneris_ \nListen to MAKR AN ERIS on: \nSpotify | Apple Music \n\n\n\nWatch\n \n\n\nListen

SUMMARY:The New Standards Holiday Show
DESCRIPTION:The New Standards Holiday Show\nat the Historic Chateau Theatre\nSaturday\, December 13\, 2025\n7:00 Doors / 8:00 Music \nTickets: $40 GA advance; $50 GA day of show; $60 premium reserved seating; $300 reserved table of 4 with table service \n>>> BUY TICKETS HERE <<< \nFor seventeen years The New Standards and friends have been dazzling audiences with their soulful\, funny and spectacular Holiday Show. Chan Poling (The Suburbs)\, John Munson (Trip Shakespeare\, Semisonic) and Steve Roehm act as ringleaders for a merry troupe of musicians\, dancers and an all-star lineup of surprise special guests featuring a deep roster of music pals. Expect the unexpected at what will surely become your new holiday tradition. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe New Standards is a “revelatory” (Star Tribune) Twin-Cities-based trio with a global following. Formed in 2005 as an off-shoot project between three Minneapolis-based musicians and friends\, The New Standards has grown into a globe-spanning adventure—filling theaters and clubs around the world and spawning several CDs\, videos\, cartoons\, and dance and theater projects that have charmed and delighted an ever-multiplying legion of faithful fans. \nThe three core members of The New Standards all come from illustrious Twin Cities bands. Chan Poling founded the seminal Punk/New Wave band The Suburbs. John Munson was an original member of Trip Shakespeare and the chart-topping Semisonic. Steve Roehm started on drums in the Texas punk outfit Billygoat and the avant-jazz Electropolis. Sensing a lack of interesting jazz trio repertoire beyond the usual “old standards\,” they got together originally to play and sing their favorite songs—from every era\, particularly post 1960’s pop music—in a stripped-down acoustic setting\, making room for solos and arrangements with the freedom of jazz\, and yet never fully abandoning the modest soul of pop and rock. \nFor more\, visit: thenewstandards.com\nTwitter: @newstandards\nFacebook: @thenewstandards\nInstagram: @thenewstandardsband\nYouTube: @thenewstandardsband

The legend and the band live on. Still rocking their powerful\, moving\, and energizing original music for the fans. A jam band with a unique style and presence\, the Wu combine strong\, free flowing improv and vocal harmonies\, with finely crafted songs for all tastes. Oh\, and their fans are famously friendly. \n  \nFollow The Big Wu on:\nFacebook: facebook.com/TheBigWu\nTwitter: @thebigwu \n\n\n\nWatch\n \n\n\nListen\n \n\n\n\n  \nClay Fulton & The Lost 40\n \n  \nClay Fulton & the Lost 40 are a dynamic roots rock band hailing from Rochester\, MN. With a blend of gritty Americana\, folk-infused melodies\, and raw\, heartfelt lyrics\, they capture the ups and downs of life\, love and loss through genuine storytelling with hope for things to come. Their sound is a fusion of influences spanning generations\, echoing the timeless spirit of classic rock\, and the clever wit and vulnerability in Fulton’s lyrics and songwriting reminiscent of the Old Town school of folk music. From foot-stomping anthems to introspective ballads\, The Lost 40 deliver an authentic music experience that resonates with audiences of all ages and keep you coming back for more. Since its inception in 2021\, the Lost 40 have performed throughout the Midwest and abroad at major festivals like SXSW\, Lumberjack Days\, Caravan Du Nord\, Mid-West Music Fest\, and shared bills with The Suburbs\, Your Smith\, Charlie Parr\, The Big Wu\, Nur-D\, and more. \n  \nFollow Clay Fulton & The Lost 40 on:\nFacebook: facebook.com/clayfultonmusic\nInstagram: @clayfultonmusic \nListen to Clay Fulton & The Lost 40 on: \nSpotify | Apple Music \n\n\n\nWatch\n \n\n\nListen\n \n\n\n\n\nTae & The Neighborly\n \n  \nTae & The Neighborly\, a Wisconsin based Soul-pop R&B group\, found themselves playing music together in a very unconventional way. They were all neighbors\, each one living alone on one floor of a five-story flat. Cake baking is a shared passion of the five member group\, but in the sugar shortages early in the 2020 pandemic\, they found themselves so continually knocking on each other’s doors asking for a single cup of sugar that a group decision was made to all move in together and share cake-baking resources. And since everyone knows all good rhythms begin in the kitchen\, it wasn’t before long that the group began to write and perform together across the nation. Critics hail the group as “having more kick than a bagged-up mule” (Rotary Times) and their live show “…going down smoother than a can of [beans] warmed on the campfire” (Cowboy Gazette). \n  \nFollow Tae & The Neighborly on:\nFacebook: facebook.com/taeandtheneighborly\nInstagram: @taeandtheneighborly \n  \n\n\n\nWatch\n \n\n\nListen\n \n\n\n\n\nMolly Brandt\n \n  \nBrandt’s story began in Colorado where she was born\, but she spent much of her life in Iowa until moving to the Twin Cities in 2019. Music has always been a core part of her existence—she studied classical piano from age 5 through high school\, sang in show choirs in high school and college\, and performed jazz around Des Moines after college\, even forming her own band. But the Molly Brandt of today is a fairly recent development. Laid off and recovering from a bad breakup during the pandemic lockdown\, she taught herself guitar and started writing songs. With a little help from some producer and musician friends\, she began recording\, releasing her first singles in 2022 and playing her first Minneapolis show at the legendary West Bank bar Palmer’s. Since then she’s played numerous venues in Minnesota as well as Wisconsin\, Iowa\, and Chicago\, and regional festivals such as Big Turn and Boats & Bluegrass. \nHer debut album\, Surrender to the Night\, was released in July 2023. The collection showcases Brandt’s vocal and lyrical strengths against a tapestry of styles ranging from classic two-step honky-tonk to 70s countrypolitan to 90s alt-rock. Molly went on to win the award for Americana Artist of the Year at the 2023 Midwest Country Music Awards. \n  \nFollow Molly Brandt on:\nFacebook: facebook.com/Mollybrandtmusic\nInstagram: @themollybrandt \n  \n\n\n\nWatch\n \n\n\nListen\n \n\n\n\n\nAudrey Robinson\n \n  \nAudrey Robinson is a folk punk singer-songwriter originally from Waterloo\, Iowa. She has been an active musician for most of her adult life\, and plays a wide range covers and original material. You might recognize her from a local stage\, or as the Taproom Manager at Little Thistle Brewing. \n  \n\n  \nJosiah Smith\n \n  \nSad hipster country fueled by Chipotle and awful puns. \nThat’s it. That’s really his bio. Thanks for reading. \n  \nFollow Josiah Smith on:\nFacebook: Josiah-Smith-Musician-100034534586307\nInstagram: @bassoonerthanlater \n\n  \nJeff Kelly\n \n  \nGuitarist\, singer and songwriter who’s been hailed as “combining passionate vocals with throat-punching honesty in his lyrics.” -skybluewindow. SUMMARY:The Shabby Road Orchestra plays The Beatles
DESCRIPTION:EVENT SOLD OUT – STANDING ROOM TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR \n\n\n  \n\n\n\nThe Shabby Road Orchestra plays the best of the Beatles at the Historic Chateau Theatre \nFriday\, January 3\, 2025\nDoors at 6:30\, music at 7:30\nAll ages\, general admission\, fully seated show.\nBar (wine\, beer\, craft cocktails & mocktails) by Bebap Korean Eats \nTickets:\n$25 GA advance; $35 GA day of show; $40 reserved premium seating; $200 reserved table of 4 (Plus Taxes and Merchant Processing Fee) \nThe Shabby Road Orchestra is an ad-hoc Minneapolis rock collective. It features members of The Honeydogs\, Six Mile Grove\, Greazy Meal\, and The New Standards holiday show. \nBeginning in 2017\, the Shabby Road Orchestra stages intermittent\, sprawling and over-achieving live recreations of the Beatles’ iconic later albums. They faithfully recreate note-for-note versions\, complete with sound effects\, harmonies\, Lennon-esque idiosyncrasies and largely authentic instrumentation. \nAlso\, they will play a wide-ranging mix of the obscure and the iconic from the band’s final six albums. A jewel of inventive songwriting\, The Beatles are celebrated for their evocative mix of experimental musical forms and buoyant singles. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe 12-piece Shabby Road Orchestra is: \nFrom Rochester:\nBrandon Sampson\, Six Mile Grove (vocals\, guitar)\nJohn Sievers\, the D’Sievers\, Loud Mouth Brass (trombone)\nPaul Scott (keys)\nJoe Carey (vocals\, guitar) \nFrom Minneapolis:\nAdam Levy\, Turn\, Turn Turn\, the Honeydogs (guitars\, vocals)\nJohn Eller\, Zeppo (guitars\, vocals)\nJohn Fields\, Greazy Meal (bass)\nKen Chastain\, New Standards Holiday Show\, Semisonic touring band (drums\, vocals)\nTom Scott (keys\, percussion\, sound effects)\nDavid Foley (horns\, woodwinds)\nAndy Nelson (woodwinds)\nJacqueline Ultan (cello)

SUMMARY:The New Standards Holiday Show
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR\nONLINE TICKETS SALES ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE.\n\n  \nThe New Standards Holiday Show at the Historic Chateau Theatre\nSaturday\, December 14\, 2024\n7:00 Doors / 8:00 Music \nTickets: $40 GA advance; $50 GA day of show; $60 premium reserved seating; $300 reserved table of 4 with table service (Plus tax and Merchant Processing Fee) \nFor seventeen years The New Standards and friends have been dazzling audiences with their soulful\, funny and spectacular Holiday Show. \nThe New Standards is a “revelatory” (Star Tribune) Twin-Cities-based trio with a global following.

DESCRIPTION:  \nTICKETS PURCHASED FOR THE ORIGINAL DATE ARE GOOD FOR THE MAY 31st\, 2024 DATE \n  \n\n  \nDoors: 6:30PM  |  Music 7:00PM | $15 advance / $20 day of show | All Ages \nMay 31st\, 2024 | Chateau Theatre | 15 1st St SW\, Rochester\, MN | 300 Capacity \nOpeners: Ashley Selnes & Jeremy Jewell \n  \n\n  \nWinterstate\nWINTERSTATE is an alternative rock band co-founded in 2015 in Valencia\, Spain by Berklee College of Music alumni Kelvin Killmon and Alexander Ortberg. \nAlexander Ortberg and Kelvin Killmon grew up in Minnesota – almost close enough to share an area code – but they were destined to cross paths 4\,500 miles from home under the sun-bleached palm trees at Berklee College of Music in Valencia\, Spain. The two became close friends while pursuing their Master’s degrees in performance and production\, and began working on original songs together. \nWhen the pair graduated in 2016\, Alex returned to Minnesota while Kelvin moved to Seattle\, but their musical collaboration has continued to flourish. Connected by interstate 90\, they chose the name WINTERSTATE as a reference to their long-distance work relationship and the icy climates of Minnesota and northern Washington. Their debut album “The Ride” was recorded simultaneously in both locations – with musical ideas being developed and traded back and forth over the Internet. \nOur passion is centered around creating community\, and sharing music that brings people closer together. We’re excited to share this new chapter in our musical journey with you. \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis activity is made possible through a grant from the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts & cultural heritage fund.\n\n\nAlso sponsored in part by: Northern Sun Productions\, Threshold Arts\, and My Town My Music\, LLC

Here is the remedy: Don your gay apparel\, your humbug hat\, your crazy Xmas sweater\, or naughty/nice elf suit and take this time-tested crash course through the roadmap of holiday hits. Put down that cowbell\, grab the Jingle Stick and ring out the season’s beatings! This show is guaranteed to banish your winter blahs and make you merry again! \n \nTRAILER TRASH started at the 24 Bar in the now defunct Berman Buckskin Building in 1992. Moving to Lee’s Liquor Lounge in May\, 1993\, they held down a regular Wednesday night gig that became a midweek attraction of Minneapolis nightlife. Thanks to the resurgence of classic country music and swing-dancing in the mid-90s\, the band gained a following among new generations of music lovers. To this day\, TRAILER TRASH is known for playing traditional country music as well as a wide variety of styles from the American hit parade. A typically eclectic set list will span decades and touch the heart of every audience. \nTheir TRASHY LITTLE XMAS SHOW has become a perennial tradition for holiday revelers. They have performed at Super Bowl LII Live\, at Jesse Ventura’s Inaugural Ball at the Target Center\, and for the opening party at the new Guthrie Theater. They’ve provided the soundtrack to countless Twin Cities courtships and hundreds of wedding receptions. Somewhere in that time\, the group racked up seven Minnesota Music Awards\, appeared in two movies\, (Herman USA and Dill Scallion) and put out seven albums.
