SUMMARY:Shaun Peace Band at Kathy's Pub
DESCRIPTION:They are a five piece band with members based out of Minnesota whose music blends elements of Rock\, Funk\, Soul and Blues. Our current touring Blayr Alexander resides in Minneapolis and is popular on the local scene around the city. To date\, the band has performed over 850 shows across the USA and Europe. The band started in 2013 with a 10 month USA tour in which they performed over 150 shows in 36 states. They released their debut single\, “Sway\,” after joining forces with legendary Wailers drummer\, Drummie Zeb in early 2015. Their debut album\, “Finally Begin\, ” was released in the fall of 2015 and has had great success in the USA and Europe. In early 2018 the band signed a contract with Baby Robot Media\, one of the leading Show/Touring Promotional Agencies in the country. The Band just finished working with Multi-Grammy award winning Producer Mark Neill\, (from the Black Keys\, J. Roddy Walston and the Business\, etc.) They are releasing their 2nd album this June and will be touring the USA to promote it. The Band has an extremely talented and experienced group of musicians touring with them. They are quickly developing a strong following throughout Minnesota while becoming a regular on the National Touring and Festival Scene.

DESCRIPTION:From small town\, Minnesota\, Fire at the Falls defies the norm of rural Midwest country fandom to create familiar yet authentic pop punk for the masses. From casual fans\, to new listeners\, and to the hardcore punks\, FATF has a song for everyone. Their debut single “Haley” in 2013 produced the sounds of high energy\, melodic pop punk topped off in the chorus by Bryan Anderson’s anthem-like vocals. Teenage Angst is a great album to get a feel for the moods of growing up and finding yourself amongst a crowd of several influences.\nFinally after six years\, Fire at the Falls is back and Stronger than ever with their sophomore album. Stronger gives depth into the writers personal life and some struggles with anxiety\, as featured in the song “Saturday.” The debut single “Wonderland” however brings back a strong pop punk forward sound that listeners have no problem singing along to. From emo-punk hits like “Obvious” to melodic ballads like “Nowhere to Go\,” listeners have their pick in a new favorite song.

The band started in July of 2015 and has been relentless playing festivals\, theaters\, and clubs alongside regional and national touring acts. Freshmen album “Sheep” out now. Formed in the summer of 2016\, their very first gig was a battle of the bands where they won almost $4000. They’ve been touring consistently since then\, playing all over the United States. \nTheir debut EP\, Trouble\, was immediately picked up for radio play by two of Nashville’s premiere FM stations. The title track was chosen to be 102.9 The Buzz’s local cut of the week in January of 2018\, while the b-side\, Hold Me Down\, enjoyed regular airplay on Lightning 100. \nThe debut of their LP American Animals represents a major step forward for Dirty Fuss. It is their first full length album and was recorded\, mixed\, and produced by the band. 2019 will see Dirty Fuss touring to promote the release\, as well as beginning work on their second full length effort. Listen to the brand new sound!

Their sound fills the gap between complexity and groove. \nBiography\nWurk is a 7-piece funk-fusion group which formed in Madison\, WI in 2016. Inspired by Snarky Puppy\, Umphrey’s McGee\, The Motet\, Herbie Hancock\, and many others; their innovative original songs and ambitious interpretations of popular covers offer an impressive multi-genre exploration of funk\, jazz fusion\, prog rock\, reggae\, and more. Described by Isthmus Magazine as “summer-jam-perfect”\, their sound seeks to employ a musically educated tone; Wurk fills the gap between complexity and groove\, impressing fans and keeping them dancing all night. The Madison Area Music Association (MAMA) Awards recognized their rapid ascent to stardom in 2018 with the Breakthrough Artist of the Year Award; then only six months later Wurk won five more awards including the coveted 2019 MAMA Artist of the Year Award. \nMax Morkri drives the band with his blend of solid grooving and intricate chops\, which is coupled by Casey Seymour’s powerful bass lines to pull the band together. Frank Laufenberg (guitar) and Miles Morkri (electric piano) provide rhythmic and tonal complexity while filling the role as the principal songwriters and vocalists. Ryley Buchanan\, the 2019 MAMA Synth Player of the Year\, brings a unique layer of effects to the mix. DESCRIPTION:From Minneapolis Minnesota. The band is rooted in blues and Classic Rock with a jam style all of our own. Promoting their first release Open Jam\, the band is getting some airplay with the song Bobby’s Blues\, currently on multiple stations across the US and followed up by the song Dog getting some good airtime as well. Winners of the 2016 Famous Dave’s battle of the bands. And voted best album by Duluth Minnesota’s 94x. The band is at a high point. For the Inline Marathon competition\, Duluth blocked off I35 while the band played in the tunnels for 2000 spectators and racers. The band keeps getting better moving through the trenches..playing locally\, regionally and nationally at clubs and festivals. Anywhere and everywhere! Most notably Lowertown Blues Festival in St Paul Minnesota. Duluth Minnesota’s Homegrown Festival where 200 bands perform on the streets and clubs of Duluth\, MN and Superior\, WI for a week. Northwoods Blues Festival in Chippewa Falls Wisconsin. And in 2017 at The Red Gorilla Festival in Austin Texas\, a division of the South by Southwest festival. \nFor the band’s second effort they have signed on with legendary producer and engineer Jonathan Akre. Jonathan’s credentials speak for themselves and can only help the band achieve the success we deserve. The band is moving on up! So watch for us live! And don’t forget to download our album!
