Their debut single “Haley” in 2013 produced the sounds of high energy\, melodic pop punk topped off in the chorus by Bryan Anderson’s anthem-like vocals. Teenage Angst is a great album to get a feel for the moods of growing up and finding yourself amongst a crowd of several influences.\nFinally after six years\, Fire at the Falls is back and Stronger than ever with their sophomore album. Stronger gives depth into the writers personal life and some struggles with anxiety\, as featured in the song “Saturday.” The debut single “Wonderland” however brings back a strong pop punk forward sound that listeners have no problem singing along to. From emo-punk hits like “Obvious” to melodic ballads like “Nowhere to Go\,” listeners have their pick in a new favorite song.

Formed in the summer of 2016\, their very first gig was a battle of the bands where they won almost $4000. They’ve been touring consistently since then\, playing all over the United States. \nTheir debut EP\, Trouble\, was immediately picked up for radio play by two of Nashville’s premiere FM stations. The title track was chosen to be 102.9 The Buzz’s local cut of the week in January of 2018\, while the b-side\, Hold Me Down\, enjoyed regular airplay on Lightning 100. \nThe debut of their LP American Animals represents a major step forward for Dirty Fuss. It is their first full length album and was recorded\, mixed\, and produced by the band. 2019 will see Dirty Fuss touring to promote the release\, as well as beginning work on their second full length effort. SUMMARY:Wurk at Kathy's Pub
DESCRIPTION:Wurk is a funk-fusion group from Madison\, WI\, described by Isthmus Magazine as “summer-jam-perfect”. Their sound fills the gap between complexity and groove. \nBiography\nWurk is a 7-piece funk-fusion group which formed in Madison\, WI in 2016. Inspired by Snarky Puppy\, Umphrey’s McGee\, The Motet\, Herbie Hancock\, and many others; their innovative original songs and ambitious interpretations of popular covers offer an impressive multi-genre exploration of funk\, jazz fusion\, prog rock\, reggae\, and more. Described by Isthmus Magazine as “summer-jam-perfect”\, their sound seeks to employ a musically educated tone; Wurk fills the gap between complexity and groove\, impressing fans and keeping them dancing all night. The Madison Area Music Association (MAMA) Awards recognized their rapid ascent to stardom in 2018 with the Breakthrough Artist of the Year Award; then only six months later Wurk won five more awards including the coveted 2019 MAMA Artist of the Year Award. \nMax Morkri drives the band with his blend of solid grooving and intricate chops\, which is coupled by Casey Seymour’s powerful bass lines to pull the band together. Frank Laufenberg (guitar) and Miles Morkri (electric piano) provide rhythmic and tonal complexity while filling the role as the principal songwriters and vocalists. Ryley Buchanan\, the 2019 MAMA Synth Player of the Year\, brings a unique layer of effects to the mix. Daniel Haschke (saxophones/flute) and Carl Hipenbecker (trumpet) top it off with impressive horn lines and effects. Most of Wurk’s members grew up in Mount Horeb\, WI\, just west of Madison; their shared background creates the band’s closeness and ability to communicate complicated ideas musically. DESCRIPTION:From Minneapolis Minnesota. The band is rooted in blues and Classic Rock with a jam style all of our own. Promoting their first release Open Jam\, the band is getting some airplay with the song Bobby’s Blues\, currently on multiple stations across the US and followed up by the song Dog getting some good airtime as well. Winners of the 2016 Famous Dave’s battle of the bands. And voted best album by Duluth Minnesota’s 94x. The band is at a high point. For the Inline Marathon competition\, Duluth blocked off I35 while the band played in the tunnels for 2000 spectators and racers. The band keeps getting better moving through the trenches..playing locally\, regionally and nationally at clubs and festivals. Anywhere and everywhere! Most notably Lowertown Blues Festival in St Paul Minnesota. Duluth Minnesota’s Homegrown Festival where 200 bands perform on the streets and clubs of Duluth\, MN and Superior\, WI for a week. Northwoods Blues Festival in Chippewa Falls Wisconsin. And in 2017 at The Red Gorilla Festival in Austin Texas\, a division of the South by Southwest festival. \nFor the band’s second effort they have signed on with legendary producer and engineer Jonathan Akre. Jonathan’s credentials speak for themselves and can only help the band achieve the success we deserve. The band is moving on up! So watch for us live! And don’t forget to download our album!

DESCRIPTION:Nick Anderson and The Skinny Lovers (NASL) Live \nAfter the release of their first two EPs\, Ephrem Pts. 1 & 2\, Nick Anderson & The Skinny Lovers (NASL) partnered with Tinderbox Music in Minneapolis\, MN. Their first radio promo landed them a number 1 chart position in Florida\, and a number 8 position in North Carolina. \nWith the newly found radio audience\, these songs and their deep emotional context made them a perfect fit for TV Networks like MTV\, E!TV\, NETFLIX. These networks\, along with 10+ more\, licensed NASL’s debut EPs.\nThese licenses opened many doors and ears of industry professionals. Phil Ehart of KANSAS even called NASL’s song 24 ‘The Anthem of a Generation.’ and the band secured an opening spot with former BoDeans frontman Sam Llanas. In 2018 NASL hit the road to play Red Gorilla Music Festival in Austin\, TX during SXSW. They sold out prominent live music venue Handlebar. Later that year\, they played Summerfest’s Emerging Artist Series which boasts alumni such as WALK THE MOON\, Maren Morris\, and X Ambassadors.\nNick Anderson & The Skinny Lovers released their debut full length album Ephrem (Pts. 1-3) to a sold out hometown crowd in 2019. As the shows get bigger\, and the fans get more attached\, this band shows no signs of slowing down.
