One of the fastest rising stars in Minnesota’s music scene, Nur-D burst onto the stage in 2018. Imagine the soulful sounds of Bruno Mars or Childish Gambino, the powerful energy of Chance the Rapper, the pop culture punchlines of an episode of “Community,” all rolled up into a show that everyone can enjoy à la The Fresh Prince. Performing alongside national acts like MisterWives, Ludacris, Tyler The Creator, and the Grammy Award winning Minnesota Orchestra, Nur-D is well on his way to becoming a house hold name!
Heatbox & Maxaphone
Aaron “Heatbox” Heaton (aka The One Man Entertainment System), personifies a true renaissance musical pioneer in his prime. How does Heatbox level up an impressive decade plus career spanning multiple lanes of otherworldly creative mastery? He writes and produces a seminal work of musical comedy, the 2023 release of “Hilarious & Epically Legendary”.
If we rewind his career we find Heatbox touring and headlining festivals landing him on bills with acts like Boyz II Men, Ceelo Green, Bone Thugs N’ Harmony, Wu Tang Clan, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Arrested Development, Umphrey’s McGee, and a now legendary live collaboration with Chali 2na (Jurassic 5) at SXSW. The journey includes acclaimed performances on huge international platforms including at the world famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival, on NBC’s “The Sing Off”, and on the hit NBC show “America’s Got Talent”.
Push & Turn
Push & Turn is an energetic Reggae-Fusion band from Rochester, Minnesota that continues to explore new harmonies, melodies, and uplifting lyrics while adding funk, blues, and jam feels to their Reggae music.
Sharing the stage with national acts from Smash Mouth to Mihali of Twiddle and also playing music festivals throughout the Midwest, the Post-Bulletin has said Push & Turn makes “original material that adheres to a policy of positivity” and that “attendees appreciate the inclusive, danceable approach the band brings to its shows”
